What landowners ask us first.
Does it cost me anything to work with you?
No. Our fees are paid by the developer or buyer. Reviewing your property and explaining your options is free, with no obligation.
Can I keep farming my land?
Usually, yes. Most leases only cover the portion of your property a project actually needs, and you continue to use the rest. During the early development period, many agreements also let you keep farming the leased area until construction begins.
What happens when the project ends?
Energy leases include removal and restoration obligations so the equipment is taken out and the land is returned to agricultural use. We walk you through exactly how that is secured in your agreement.
How long does it take?
It depends on the market. A land purchase can close in a matter of months. Energy projects typically go through several years of development, studies and permitting before construction, and you are paid along the way under most option agreements.
